Windows has no built-in QR scanner, but you do not need one. If the code is on your screen, capture it with the Snipping Tool and decode the image online. If it is a physical code, use your webcam with a browser-based scanner.
Capture the code
Press Win + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool and select the area containing the QR code.
Open an online scanner
Go to a browser-based QR scanner that accepts image uploads.
Paste or upload
Paste the snip with Ctrl + V, or save and upload it. The code is decoded instantly in your browser.
